About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To enjoy life and give back as much as I can to the world
ABOUT ME
I love the outdoors and traveling. I am currently taking a 'round the earth odyssey in my gap year between high school and college. Anchorage, Alaska is home for me but I'd like to consider myself a citizen of the world. Trying new things is a favorite of mine, as is books, food, music and meeting new people. This trip has been an amazing journey but meeting all the people along the way has been by far and away the best part. To enjoy life and give back in any way I can to the world that has given me so much is my motto for life.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is good. Go with the flow and follow what interests you. Don't do whatever you like....like whatever you do!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have no couchsurfing experience so far. I have done WOOFing, (Willing Workers on Organic Farms) which is a great way to get to know the local people and culture better while at the same time giving back to the community which I am traveling through and learn more about sustainable organic living which I am very interested in. Hopefully I can try my hand at couch surfing soon as I will be traveling around much of Europe and everyone I have talked to says couch surfing is amazing!
Interests
I think I've accidently covered my interests between "couch surfing experience" and "about me" but I'll try to sum them up a little. I am interested in sustainable organic living, and expand this interest through traveling and working on said organic farms. I also enjoy meeting new people and seeing new things, again done through much traveling. I love my home of Alaska though and am very interested in all that goes on there!

Music, Movies, and Books
Everything. When it comes to book, music, art, movies I have no preference. I love them all!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling around the world on my own before age 20.
Teach, Learn, Share
This is a great question, but I'm afraid I'm still learning a lot about life, so I'm not sure how much I can offer. Let's see, I can ride horses; read a map; cook decently if I have a recipe or you want scrambled eggs; play the piano; and tell stories. As for what I'd like to learn: how to cook better; speak another language, preferably Italian; para-glide; and how to drive a motor cycle!
