About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to fly around like a dandelion fluff in the wind
ABOUT ME
I am a gardener, bicyclist, trekkie, fix-it lady, bug collector, ukulele player and new to traveling. I finished my degree in Environmental Science from the University of Vermont last year and then spent the summer doing fieldwork for two soil monitoring projects. I have spent nearly the entirety of my life in New England and am finally traveling!
PHILOSOPHY
Think, all the time. Share what you think, fully consider what other people think. Challenge yourself and others to be better people and make choices that constantly improve our communities and world.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like to listen to Joanna Newsom, Caroline Smith and the Goodnight Sleeps, Gillian Welch, Deer Tick, Anais Mitchell, Rilo Kiley, Best Coast, Madeline Adams, Nana Grizol, Architecture in Helsinki, and Rosa to name a few!
TV: Sherlock, Star Trek, Doctor Who, and Call the Midwife
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Took a train from Boston to Seattle and saw just how big the country is. Biked over a mountain and on the other side I found the Pacific Ocean for the first time. Watched whales jumping out of the ocean on a whale watch with my mother. Accidentally swam with a pod of wild dolphins who were playing "pass the leaf" and played along!
Teach, Learn, Share
I have my permaculture design certificate and love to talk about gardening and composting! I can teach knitting and basic sewing skills, and can cut hair. I could probably give basic music lessons to beginner guitar/uke/piano players (but I can't promise too much with that!) I want to learn how to make yogurt and sauerkraut.
