ABOUT ME

My Life:
I was raised by two musicians who supported our family completely from the money they made playing music. I have grown up surrounded by music, poetry, art and the like. My older brother and I both grew up to become professional musicians.
I have since completed training in clothing production and design, although aside from making stage costumes, I have not yet utilized that skill as a profession.

I just moved to Sweden in January 2015. I am not yet familiar with Stockholm at all so I am currently not comfortable hosting guests as I don't have the ability to show them around or tell them anything about this city. Hopefully I can change that soon!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Too many amazing things have happened to me because of CouchSurfing, I can't possibly pick one. This community is one of the most amazing travel tools I have ever come across. Thank you to everyone who makes it so awesome.

Interests

I'm obsessed with the 1940's 50's and 60's. Most of the music I listen to is from those eras and the music I make is inspired by those eras, although I am open to everything.
I love to read (books, magazines and blogs), write (in my journal - songs and short stories), draw (not very well), sing (all of the time), dance (also all of the time) , sew (these days mostly sequinned stage costumes), take photos ( flickr.com/emilyrault ) and cook (and eat) among many other things.
I love new experiences and trying new things.
