About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to become more educated about this world, meet all different types of people and give special care and love to those who have the 'least' on this earth.

ABOUT ME

I have a big heart. I care about a lot of people and a lot of different things (i.e. nature, working hard at whatever I'm doing, running, being educated...). I am very eager to learn and see how the rest of the world functions, hence why I am traveling. I love people and want to see what other people's 'realities' are outside of the U.S. first hand. I have dreams to work with children someday whether it be teaching, in a medical position or doing social work. I'm so thankful for this opportunity to go experience more of the world and to continue to grow as a person.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe each person is called to "love their neighbor as their self." This is definitely difficult to do with certain people, but I do put in a solid effort to live my life this way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, I am new to couch surfing as of September 2011. Which means I have no experience with couchsurfing yet. I am eager and ready to be a part of this neat organization. I will let you all know what my experiences are once I have some.

Interests

I am interested in learning languages (for now I'm focusing on spanish), living healthy, music, relationships with people, traveling, running/playing soccer/hiking/bike riding, reading, writing, crocheting/making crafts, and trying new things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I genuinely believe in the power of a smile. And I am living proof that smiles make all the difference in this world. I am 22 and have probably spent more of my life smiling than not smiling (I'm not even kidding). When I was a child, I would smile my way through my piano lessons, run my track races with a smile on my face and even when I'm just driving my car alone, I'll often realize I'm just smiling for no specific reason at all. I don't know why, but I smile all the time and I truly think it helps me live a more positive and happy life despite any situation I may be in. You should try it :)
