ABOUT ME

I just recently graduated college and moved to DC to work and explore a new city. I absolutely love to travel, meet new people, explore different cultures and learn languages. I have been very fortunate to travel a lot in my life from the time I was a child and I really feel that traveling has shaped who I am today.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live my life in awe of the world around me. I never want to take anything for granted or turn down a new experience. Live life like a tourist - open eyed and up for anything!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am up for showing people around DC, getting coffee or beers, checking out the monuments, neighborhoods, museums, etc. In the future I would like to host people to stay, but I don't currently have the space to do so. Also, I look forward to couch surfing, myself!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

During a teaching internship in Costa Rica in 2006, I spent a weekend climbing Cerro Chirripo. It was an incredible journey that involved climbing 11 miles straight up the mountain and overcoming altitude sickness. It was amazing to be above the clouds at about 13,000 feet!

I can teach English or Spanish, cooking Southern/American food, or about commuter biking and bike touring.
