Overview
About Me
I'm easy-going, I love a lot of things, and I've got a weird sense of humor. I want to do more things than I have time for, but I get a lot of things done anyway.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I first used couchsurfing because it was free. Now I don't want to travel any other way, because I love traveling through the eyes of strangers who live where I'm visiting. I also love hosting when I'm brave enough to do it (because of introvertedness, not actual fear). Everyone I've met on CS has been lovely and engaging in various ways.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think it's funny that this is a required field. I've experienced a lot of amazing things, but none of them when described in words seem amazing anymore. I've traveled from the top of a very high mountain to the Pacific coast in a matter of hours - feeling the air get thicker as the elevation dropped was amazing. I've sat in the dark on an ocean cliff with the only light coming from the glowing bodies of fish. That was pretty cool. I've watched a human die peacefully. I've had amazing and long-lasting friendships.
Teach, Learn, Share
I will teach anyone I surf with how to knit. I am also a good problem solver, and may fix something while I am staying with you.
