Hi!

I'm Emily, an Aussie traveling the Americas for the year. I have taken time off to explore the world and learn from people and experiences.

I enjoy hanging out, drinking, music, good books, good television, good movies and good people. Most of all I love hearing peoples' stories, so lets meet and share some yarns. I am definitely more of a listener then a talker.

I study journalism, so I'm always up for a chat about the state of the world but I am equally able to have an in-depth discussion about how funny the word baboon is.

I like filming, and making documentaries while I travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've hosted and surfed in the past. I love this community!

If you can´t host me, I am equally happy to meet up for a drink or a walk. My main goal of couchsurfing is to simply meet new and local people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I travelled Europe and couchsurfed. Those experiences were the most memorable. When living in Sydney I hosted and have met some amazing people.

Interests

I good conversation with good food and wine (although, I'm always on a budget). I like to party, as much as I like to chill out. New music is always welcome, especially reggae and dub. I am really keen to know more about the music in Argentina and South America.

I am always up for activities. I love walking and talking, sharing a tea or coffee, and especially sharing a wine or beer. Listening to live music is one of my favourite things to do, and I like to dance, but be warned people of South America, I dance like a white chic.

I love the outdoors, there is nothing like a good hike or camping in the mountains for a week without internet and showers.
