I've worked with kids for 15+ years so have awesome Lego building and fort making skills! I’m friendly, laid back and love to have a laugh. I’m vegetarian, enjoy a cider or two and have a slight obsession with playing frisbee, especially at night. I’ve run my own consulting business, but happy working in local government again. I’ve never travelled further than New Zealand, so am looking forward to changing that!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm about to embark on a seven month trip to the US and Europe (March 2015), and want to experience each city I visit as a local would. I’m excited about meeting new people, creating some amazing memories and finding travelling buddies along the way.

I like alternative, indie and rock music: Kingswood, Arctic Monkeys, Glass Animals, The Delta Riggs, Meg Mac, Ball Park Music, Royal Blood, Catfish and the Bottlemen etc.

I love anything Will Ferrell, especially Anchorman and anything else that makes me laugh. Archer is another favourite (what a legend!) and I've only recently jumped on the Game of Thrones bandwagon. Also loving Parks and Recreation…. Ron Swanson is my hero… ☺

I grew up around books as my family owned a bookshop so will read just about anything. Game of Thrones and Hunger Games are next on my list.
