I've from the Boston area originally and have lived in small town Iowa, Smoky Mountain Tennessee, and now Portland, Oregon for the last 18 years. I know Portland really well and love it here. I love to meet new people and share interests, conversation, meals, and adventures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have friends that rave about this site and their couchsurfing and hosting experiences, so I thought I'd give it a whirl. I don't currently do a lot of traveling, but I'm excited to host and meet travelers.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm majorly into music and love geeking out to it, listening to songs with people. Everything from indie rock to electronic to experimental. I go to a few live shows every month too. I can talk for hours about music, movies and books and swap recommendations easily.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I stood at the end of a dock at the ocean in Aberystwyth, Wales and let the sea spray me with the wind whipping and the rolling green hills behind me. That was a magical day of driving winding roads through the countryside to reach the coast.
