Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
take a break in the Pacific NW from my daily life on an organic farm in central PA...get some outside perspective! Want to hike with me in ONP?
ABOUT ME
i don't follow any traditional paths. In a way, i'm my own cautionary tale. I have yet to solidify anything real, but I know I'm winding my way there. I spent much of my 20's living overseas and traveling, and now I've settled on an organic farm in PA. I mostly love what I do but now and then need some outside perspective.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm interested in sustainability, being a good person, not being a dick. I try to make a difference and probably spend too much time mulling over what is the best way to do it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am looking to surf but am also open to hosting folks on the farm. Problem is, it's isolated and you need a car to get there!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've participated in a couchsurfing-like website when I lived in France in 2007--surfed on a couch back there. Limited experience, I guess. But Peace Corps was like a year of couch surfing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My cousin and I rode up the Sani Pass (Lesotho) in a little AWD vehicle. It was terrifying.
Teach, Learn, Share
The people I tend to appreciate the most are those with whom I share common values but who express them much differently than me. It's about mutual learning.
