ABOUT ME

Travel = life.

Remote worker, trying to never have to work in an office again. I am a Freelance Designer and Content Writer (currently writing for Couchsurfing, woop woop!). I've been in San Francisco for about 5 years now (which is much longer than I prefer to stay in one place!) I'm just starting to get my career off the ground, which is very exciting because it means that hopefully soon I will traveling again while working from anywhere!

I am (usually) vegan, sometimes only vegetarian while traveling. I don't expect anyone else to be and don't have any problem being around people eating meat. I've been doing this for a while and am pretty good and making due and finding things to fit into my veggie diet.

I love to show people around, so if you are in the area and would like a buddy to hang out with, shoot me a message! If you are here for a weekend and you enjoy mimosas, then we will get along just fine :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As a traveler I know how much a trip can be enhanced by a local showing you the best of their hometown. This project takes a lot of trust in mankind, which is something that we could all use a little practice in. I want to be available for people who are passing through my area, who might need a place to stay, a little advice or just someone to chat with. And I trust that the same will be done for me someday too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been lucky enough to experience the sheer joy that comes from a bed and good company. I had some really wonderful Couchsurfing experiences in Australia, while living there and traveling around for 2 years. I am very excited about where Couchsurfing may lead me in the future.

One of the best experiences that I have ever had was at a Radiohead concert in Glasgow in the pouring rain.

I've done a lot of traveling, most notably, backpacking around Australia for 2 years and had an amazing time! I did a fair bit of Couchsurfing while I was there which definitely enriched my experience.
