About Me

currently traveling back in the states

You know what I like about living in Naviasha kenya? Everything. and it usually means the couch surfers we get out here, are the best of the best. Not any traveler comes to kenya and wants to hang in Naivasha. I have an amazing place here now, come check it out.

ABOUT ME

I really enjoy life. Everything about it. I love making the most of it and trying to pack as many new things and people and beer in as possible. People call me an oblivious optimistic because I will always see the best in what is or could be (even if it isn't there). People are essential for me, so is being outside. Rugby, Rock climbing, biking, hiking, camping, anything in or on water. Combine new friends and adventures under the sun and I am one happy camper.
I love traveling, am always finding anyway to go see and do something new. I love cooking, so if you stay with me, or I stay with you, expect some incredible food.
I just moved to the Bay Area to start grad school at Berkeley. I dont know anything about the area, but am pumped to find out

PHILOSOPHY

Life is a gift, don't waste a minute of it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing the organization and website has seen a LOT of changes in the past 10 years I have been a part of it. But, that doesn't have to affect the idea and verb of couch surfing, as in to crash on someones couch and be a part of their life for a short time. and that hasn't changed. that beautiful act is still a very powerful verb that still happens.

I'd say 97% of every experience I have had with CS has been incredible. Whether surfing, hosting, or just going to meet-ups. The ppl in CS are just full or stories and of life. Then there are those other 3%, that you just have to laugh at because they are so off their rocker or just annoying. Just ask and I will give you some GOOD stories.

Interests

I love being outside; camping, trekking, climbing, ALL sports specifically rugby & ultimate frisbee. I really enjoy cooking and hosting people at my house. Love going out dancing, and can always be found singing something. Here in Naivasha a standard night is have people over and a big bonfire in my yard, drinking, eating and playing guitar.

- I converted an old School Bus into an RV with some friends and road tripped around America for a summer. Went hiking, mountain biking, climbing and any other also adventure you can imagine.

- I got to work with Engineers without Boarders while at GT and helped design a water supply system for a village in Cameroon Africa. The village, mungo-goa is my favorite place in the entire world.
