About Me

CURRENT MISSION

live and let live and be here now

ABOUT ME

I guess eclectic. I like traveling because I like life, different perceptions of it, different people making it what it is for you, being in uncomfortable in mind expanding situations. Meeting people. I like to ryhme things, analogize things, I like warmth like tea fires colors heaters baths excersize . I like to: play soccer.bike read hike stretch get warm talk about life.. create beauty give beauty. I am an afterschool care teacher at a Waldorf Inspired school in Los Osos, CA where I grew up. Waldorf education is awesome. I feel blessed for my life. I am headed to Duluth, Minnesota for a year to do an AmeriCorps program helping low income kids with reading skills. I am not sure what I want to do with my life exactly but as long as I am busy with good things I think that is all that matters.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that life is a long journey. Im not really sure If I ever really want to arrive, after all "Happiness is a journey not a destination".

Music, Movies, and Books

i used to like fiction only, but now I like non fiction. Its good to jog the imagination with idealistic tales of romance and fun, but it makes you feel like that is reality, kind of like movies. Im really into the kings of Leon, mason jennings, and bob dylan, and G love right now, I just read Three Cups of Tea, I have read lots of Paulo Choelo.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hampi in India was an amazing holy city in the state of Karnataka in the South. Hundreds of abandoned old temples, real south Indian culture, prehistoric huge boulders, and a mix of more gutsy world travelers make this city a must see in India. Luang Prabang, Laos, tubing down that river was a hoot and a holler with free shots of local alcohol grain liquor(nasty), Beer Lao, zip lines, and hoards of partiers and sunshine. Great time. Big sur is an amazing 100 miles of windy coastline highway one that cuts through the gorgeous Santa Lucia moutain range with the pacific ocean vistas and white sand beaches, TOOONSS of camping, beautiful hiking, some rad swimming holes when the weather is nice(usally Aug-Nov),earthy type bikhu locals, lovley locals from nearby, more sophisticated europeans driving through to san fran, little moutain towns...great place to stop and spend a week or two even. Very off the map and less touristed, usally just driven through.
