Overview
About Me
I'm a 22year old environmental and human rights activist (I get to travel around the world to do research on the environmental impacts of war and militarization and talk about, which I think is pretty nifty). Right now I am also a senior undergraduate student at the University of Northern Colorado, in Greeley, Colorado, USA. I am studying Asian Studies and Environmental and Sustainability Studies with minors in Chinese and GIS (geographic information sciences). I'm a total map nerd who also loves hiking, camping, and backpacking, and watching Bollywood.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
While I have never formally couchsurfed, I have been learning, sharing, and thriving off the generosity of local hosts since I began solo traveling at 17. Simply put, Couchsurfing is the best way to discover new place and ideas while fostering international friendships that bring us all a little bit closer together. Isn't that the reason for travel?
Interests
TRAVELING, camping, hiking, yoga, running, biking, sustainable agriculture, trying new foods, drinking beer, kayaking, swimming, and social justice.

Music, Movies, and Books
HARRY POTTER is without question the best book series there is. I also enjoy anything by George Orwell, Oscar Wilde, Terry Pratchett, and about a million others. My Netflix queue is full of Orange is the New Black, Narcos, and a bunch of nature documentaries. My all time favorite movie is the Princess Bride.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Skydiving, cliff diving, surfing, mountain climbing, protesting, and I once recorded my voice for the public bus system in Xi'an, China.
Teach, Learn, Share
Anything and everything. Languages, food, culture, politics, dancing, better packing technics, I want to learn it all.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can give yoga lessons, cook Indian food, give basic Chinese lessons, and laugh a lot.
Countries I’ve Visited
Bermuda, China, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, India, Israel, Mexico, Mongolia, Nicaragua, Panama, Thailand, Turks and Caicos Islands
