About Me

I am 25 and new to Oregon. I love to go on adventures and try new things--at least twice! I'm easy going, quick to laugh, and I genuinely like most people. Let's get weird! I'm a tidy, respectful, responsible person and I do not drink, not that that should stop you. Live and let live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My favorite things are traveling and meeting new people! I hope to be in a living situation soon where I can host Couchsurfers myself. I traveled abroad for a year recently and I very much miss that lifestyle and the eccentric but like-minded people you meet along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: These days I'm listening to Anderson Paak on repeat (oh wait, that has been the last five months...) as well as Kendrick Lamar, Florence and the Machine, the Black Keys, Modest Mouse, the Lumineers, anything Motown, anything from the 70s.

Movies: oh, all sorts. Wes Anderson stuff, comedies like Step Brothers, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Moulin Rouge (which is not to say I am an equal opportunity musical lover)

Books: I'm reading Fear and Clothing by Cintra Wilson, as well as The Truth by Neil Strauss. I have favorite books, I'm sure of it. East of Eden by John Steinbeck, anything by George Orwell. The Golden Compass had a big impact on me when I was a wee adolescent, as did the Harry Potter series needless to say.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Working for 18 months to save up enough money for a year of travel is what I am most proud of. I would not call it amazing since people do that all the time, but I am proud of it.

Teach, Learn, Share
