CURRENT MISSION

Travel and work in New Zealand while meeting some awesome Kiwis and have a blast! My partner, Abes, and I have working holiday visas so we are going to explore NZ and afterwards go traveling around Asia.

ABOUT ME

A friendly and outgoing person who likes to travel and explore new places! The same goes for Abes, who shares this couchsurfing page with me as we usually adventure together. When we aren't traveling or working on reforesting Canada, we split our time between my family home in Cornwall, Ontario and his parent's farm near Owen Sound, Ontario.

Looking to surf right now but hope to host later! When I get back from our 'big adventure' in NZ and Asia, I will likely be moving from my family home in Cornwall to either Toronto or Guelph and would love to host people in these awesome Canadian cities. I promise to get a comfy couch.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like some ol' folk music. I am learning to play banjo and banjolele (that's a ukulele with a banjo head). I enjoy going to music festivals in summer, favorites being the Winnipeg Folk Fest and Arts Wells in BC.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Abes and I biked (as in bicycled) 1000+ kilometers from Cornwall, Ontario to Fredericton, New Brunswick in Fall 2014. It was an insanely fun trip!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am learning to play the banjo, trying to commit to practicing yoga everyday, and expanding my culinary skills. I love cooking, baking, and cheese-making! (We have a cow on Abes's family farm so we make lots of cheese.)
We love card games and board games too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We'd love to share a meal and drink with our hosts! We can cook or clean up - whatever floats your boat!
