About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm spunky.
I'm getting my Masters in Nationalism Studies at CEU in Budapest and doing my dissertation on the Roma (gypsies), and how their culture contributes to a Hungarian national identity.
I plan on being in school for as long as possible and have no career goals to speak of besides doing good and seeing the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I contribute myself to the cause, and if I should be lucky enough to move somewhere besides a dorm (though I make it my mission to be a vagrant traveler for as long as possible), then I would love to offer my own comfy couch to a fellow wanderer. But if you want to meet up in Budapest I'd love to show you the town!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived in the Caribbean for a summer on an archaeological dig at one of the earliest synagogues in the New World. I did the drawings and measurements for the recreation of the swivel guns on the Andrew Dorria, a colonial ship that was given the first salute after U.S. independence. Everything about that summer was amazing, particularly the abundance of mango trees and crappy Caribbean beer.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can tie a cherry stem in a knot with my tongue.
I'd like to learn how to play the harmonica.
