About Me

CURRENT MISSION

we want to host people in order to learn about other cultures, religions, anything and everything that is different than the way we live.

ABOUT ME

I am mostly a stay-at-home mom to my gorgeous and strong-willed little girl Ellia. I work one day a week at a domestic violence shelter as a case manager. both jobs are tough but also rewarding.

i have an amazing husband who is also a very wonderful and involved father. i cannot imagine life without him. he is one of the most quality people you will ever meet.

I think Jesus is cool. we are personal friends. he's a pretty rad dude and i want to be like Him.

PHILOSOPHY

"I shall pass this way but once; any good, therefore, that I can do or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer nor neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again."
~ Dale Carnegie ~

"you can bomb the world to pieces but you can't bomb the world to peace."
~ Micheal Franti ~

"what difference does it make to the dead, the orphans, and the homeless, whether the mad destruction is wrought under the name of totalitarianism or the holy name of liberty?"
~Mahatma Gandhi ~

God is not a republican...or a democrat.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

right now, we're just interested in hosting wonderful people but would eventually like to travel using CS. i also participate in CS by spreading the word about this great organization.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

we haven't personally done any CSing or hosted yet but are anxious to welcome new friends in to our home. We hope to meet many new people who are truly looking for a mutual cultural exchange, people who want to invest in us and us in them. If you're looking for just a place to crash and could care less about learning about us and sharing yourself with us, then you might want to start reading another profile.
