Overview
About Me
Yogini and yoga instructor, lover of all things art, music and performance. I believe in feeding people and free food, so far that's manifested as me making food for other people to enjoy and I like that. Things are better shared, and I hold verbal communication in very high regard! Its all about the communication!
I grew up in Vermont on Lake Champlain. Life in VT is centered on outdoor activities and subsequently I love to hike, bike, climb, and generally go on adventures. In 2008 I lived in Ecuador for a year, and then I moved to Rome, Italy for University. Since then I have also lived in Cape Town, South Africa and in Mexico. I like to share stories and hear them, make connections with people. Community is what my life is all about, supporting in anyway I can and participating. I am very outgoing, meeting new people in new places is one of my favorite things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I like to hear different perspectives, have chats and connect with people. My experiences are usually about the people I meet rather than the places I visit!

Weiss, anything written by George RR Martin. And many, many, more!!! Always interested in any book swaps/recommendations
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hike 120 miles through Vermont wilderness.
Trad-climb Table Mountain in Cape Town and summit as the sun set.
Stayed in silence and fasted for 7 days (doesn't sound like too long, but for a person who talks alot it was pretty wild!)
Teach, Learn, Share
Always happy to give yoga classes, pranayama (breathing), or guided meditation for anyone who is interested. I can teach some baking skills, crocheting/knitting, English/Spanish/Italian languages, and much more, just ask.
I am constantly trying to improve in languages, so i love to practice speaking Spanish, Italian or French. I would like to learn anything someone wants to share or teach.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share stories, inspirations, ideas, and cook meals and share baked goods, and give yoga classes!
