If you're spending some time in Sweden and your schedule is flexible, I recommend you make a trip to Kiruna in the Swedish lapland. I went for Christmas with a few friends and it was an authentic experience. Saw the northern lights, drove snowmobiles to the famous Ice Hotel, and went dog-sledding. Overall a great vacation that didn't feel touristy at all.
