Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think meeting and conversing with people from all different backgrounds and walks of life is important. It also never hurts to have some fun and make new friends. I've done hostels, but the only way to really immerse yourself in the life of the city is to hang out with locals. This outlet is perfect!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

If you're spending some time in Sweden and your schedule is flexible, I recommend you make a trip to Kiruna in the Swedish lapland. I went for Christmas with a few friends and it was an authentic experience. Saw the northern lights, drove snowmobiles to the famous Ice Hotel, and went dog-sledding. Overall a great vacation that didn't feel touristy at all.
