ABOUT ME

I'm a friendly, sociable person who is interested in travelling to different places and learning and talking about the world we all live in, how it all works and how we could make it better!

I'm from England originally and moved to Malmö, Sweden in Sept 2013 to volunteer and try new things to discover what I want to do and where I want to be! I volunteer at a cultural/political centre in Malmö as part of the European Voluntary Service.

I love fiction books that tell me more about a time or place, e.g. Victoria Hislop and Carlos Ruiz Zafon. And books that make you think differently, like The Five People you Meet in Heaven and Naomi Wolf's The Beauty Myth.
I like mainstream movies but also foreign cinema and documentaries.
I like music but not enough to name certain bands, more as a 'ooh, that's a nice song' or a soundtrack to a good night out.
