About Me

I'm a fun-loving, kind hearted and considerate human being. I believe in compassion and grace. I love creating things. I love music. I love meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am in Lower Manhattan for a Graphic Design Summer Intensive Program at the New School for the month of July. I will be able to stay with friends some of the time, but for the rest of the time, I am going to have to rely on the generosity of kind strangers for a place to stay.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once organized a charity fashion show to raise awareness about Mitochondrial Disease. It was dedicated to my friend's child who was diagnosed with a terminal form of Mitochondrial Disease called Leigh's Disease. I was inspired by the life of Coco Chanel and decided to base the theme of the show around Chanel's life and celebrate her achievements as one of the world's most influential fashion designers. I had a team of 50 people work with me and the project took about 8 months to organize. 100% of the proceeds from ticket sales went towards Mitochondrial Disease research. It was one of my favourite projects to date.
