About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see the world!
ABOUT ME
I am a vegan & absolutely love cooking (and eating). I work in the solar energy industry in California and am passionate about protecting the environment.
PHILOSOPHY
Vote with your wallet!
I believe it is our responsibility to be good stewards of our environment and our wealth, and every decision we make should take that into consideration. From buying a car to buying lunch. All these decisions have impacts on the world around us and it's important to be aware of what our choices say about our values.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I discovered CS as a student studying abroad in London and it made traveling around Europe possible & amazing.
After a few years back in the US, I'm now spending a year volunteering/working in Manila. Hopefully I'll be able to couchsurf on this side of the world as well!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Surfing in Amsterdam, Vienna, Taiwan and San Diego.
I haven't hosted yet but as soon as I live somewhere with space/accomodating roommates, I will!
Interests
Veganism (food, community, compassion), hiking, biking, seeing new places.
Every place I travel teaches me so much about the world and about myself. I hope to see and learn as much as I can.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love listening to almost any kind of music.
As far as movies, I love a good psychological thriller. There's a time and a place for everything though! The Silence of the Lambs movies are probably my favorites.
Books- Autobiography of a Yogi,Brave New World, Vagabonding, Diet for a Small Planet. I recently read and enjoyed Kafka's The Trial and Ondaatje's Running In The Family.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling with amazing friends in Europe during a semester abroad as an undergrad
Wilderness backpacking in Yosemite
Teach, Learn, Share
Let me teach you my vegan baking tricks. Here's one for free- you can use bananas instead of eggs! Vegan baking is a lot like magic.
