When I was little I used to literally jump up and down with excitement at the idea of sleeping outside, under a tree or near a river or at the foot of a mountain.

I still do that.

I believe in travel magic the way that other people believe in heaven or fate or true love.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've used CS to stay with people in Buenos Aires, La Paz, West Virginia and Kentucky. For a long time, I didn't have the ability to host, but my living situation has changed and I'm now able to host overnight guests (1-2 nights at a time)! I'm so excited to begin giving back to the Couchsurfing community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I loved using couch-surfing to meet people in La Paz and Buenos Aires in January 2012! Couch-surfing led me to fun conversations, movie screenings, book recommendations, political debates, a lesbian cover band, a bar called El Alamo, and a pizza restaurant at dawn, among other places. I've also had great experiences staying on couches in West Virginia and Kentucky.
