About Me
CURRENT MISSION
experience life through building relationships
ABOUT ME
I currently live in Philadelphia and have been here for 4 years. I live in a city because I love being around people but I certainly do miss being out in nature. I am a jewelry designer and maker and surprisingly most of my work is either inspired by cities or strictly by nature. I love making jewelry as well as many other forms of art (i've dabbled in ceramics and glass blowing and would love to keep that up!).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've hosted a bunch but have yet to travel via CS. Hosting is always a lot of fun, I love getting to meet new people and sharing lives for 2-3 short days.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm new to couchsurfing but have so far been loving the experience.
Interests
Running, biking, camping, kayaking, gardening, cooking, baking, jewelry making/designing, photography, reading. I have a wide variety of interests, if you persuade me enough, I'll probably become interested and want to get involved. It's just fun to try all sorts of new things, so why not?

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: I love all the films that Wes Anderson and Hayao Miyazaki have made. I also love documentaries.
Music: all sorts- from Kanye West and The Weeknd to Sufjan Stevens and Nickelcreek. Love Ray LaMontagne and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes as well as David Bazan and Arcade Fire.
Books: I've been reading a lot of nonfiction lately- my favorites have been Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver, Farm City by Novella Carpenter and The Birth Order Book by Kevin Lehman. I have an odd love for science fiction novels and Philip K Dick is my favorite sci fi author. I've also enjoyed books by Augusten Burroughs and Kurt Vonnegut.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once saw a baby lamb being born. I became fluent in Italian by working at a soup kitchen.. those things were pretty cool.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'll teach you a bit about urban gardening, can share skills about soldering and load you with facts about diamonds and other gemstones and their sourcing.
