Overview
About Me
I'm super friendly and love traveling and meeting new people. I am an American, currently interviewing for OBGYN residency programs. I am a fun, easy going person, and I love to experience new things. I'm cleanly and considerate. I love to listen to other people's interesting stories and opinions and have deep conversations.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am going on a giant, cross-country road trip in the U.S.A., mostly staying with friends and family, but I will be stopping some places where I don't have a contact and would still like to get the "local" experience (along with the major touristy must-sees). Anyway, I love meeting new people and so I am very excited to try this out.
Interests
I'm interested in anything cultural and new. Films, books, languages, music, art, food, and history to name a few. I read and watch movies a ton. I also like being active by playing tennis and walking/hiking to explore new places. I love to volunteer. My goal is to become a physician and work with organizations such as Doctors Without Borders/Médecins sans frontières, Global Brigades, and the HEAL Initiative. I am passionate about global health and access to medicines around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls (I'm obsessed with memoirs), HP Series (need I say more?), Life of Pi (loved it long before the movie), Ender's Game (huge SciFi lover), Wool Trilogy (my current top recommendation), The Book Thief (basically anything Holocaust/WWII), The Scarlet Letter... I could go on, but I'll stop here.
Movies: HP Series, V for Vendetta, The Fifth Element, Clueless, The King's Speech, Moonrise Kingdom, Insideous... This list is also very long.
Music: Indie Rock, Folk, Pop, Singer/Songwriter, some rap and hard rock, and a tiny bit of country. I am very open to suggestions of all genres.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I backpacked several places in Europe all on my own for 11 days.
Teach, Learn, Share
I will take any opportunity to practice French and Spanish, I love exchanging stories, especially about travel. I am always willing to try new things (with the exception of drugs or criminal activity).
