Note: I'm really only interested in hosting people that have a Fetlife profile and/or are actively polyamorous. It's just such a big part of my life right now that I don't see it being feasible to host someone without leaving them behind for a poly/kink event.

My major interests include nerdy things, such as tabletop roleplaying games, board games, LARPing, and reading. I'm a roller derby girl with Windy City Rollers, and I'm involved in the SCA (Society of Creative Anachronism.) I'm a heavy weapons fighter, so you can see some wicked bruises if you stay with me.

During summer, I'm outdoors a lot more. I hike and bike much more frequently. During the winter, I try to do as much activity as the weather allows.

Traveling is really important to me. I've been to Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Italy, France, Canada, Mexico, Jamaica, and the Cayman Islands, plus quite a bit of the United States. I've lived in Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois and Oklahoma.

I think there are three types of people: those who watch, those who do, and those who wonder what happened.
I'm one of those that do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've hosted several couchsurfers, and they were awesome! I hope to have more. I'm traveling soon, and hoping to have good couchsurfing experiences myself.

My favorite author is Tamora Pierce.
My favorite TV show is Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I keep up with Wynonna Earp, Blacklist, etc.
I listen to a variety of music, but honestly, it's not super important to me. Pink is my favorite artist, but I've seen Alice in Chains, Seether, Pink, Meat Loaf, Alice Cooper, Britney Spears, and more in concert.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have lots of random skills that I've picked up over the years that I'd be happy to teach. I've taught people to swim, bike and roller skate. I can fence sabre, do some art, play several instruments, ski, make boffer weapons, sew a little and bake.
I'd love to learn to sew better, metalworking, woodworking, cooking...anything, really. I love to learn.
