I live in a state of deep gratitude and love to share in stories and experiences with people. As I meet others, my world expands, thus challenging perspective and shifting views. Change is the only constant, and I am constantly embracing its ebb and flow.

To play, and to make a positive impact on Earth while here! To live as if every moment were my last.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Although much of my time in occupied at this stage in my life, I do always love meeting interesting people, especially travelers, so if I'm able and available I'd love to offer to show you around Chico, CA, or just get together and chat over coffee or tea.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first hosted a couchsurfer in San Luis Obispo, CA. Great guy. Then when I first arrived in Maui, I couchsurfed in Kihei, back in 2009. Ended up living in Maui for a stint, and enjoyed every moment of the island life and aloha spirit. Eventually, I couchsurfed in Vietnam. All experiences have been totally different—such is the world and all people on it!

Interests

I enjoy reading, studying, writing, coaching, exercising, pondering, socializing, indulging in creativity—all that good stuff. I adore meeting new people and expanding my worldview. I want to hear about other people's experiences with their life and travels, so please feel free to contact me, even if it's just for an email chat or for coffee.

As far as authors go, I adore Drunvalo Melchizedek, Deepak Chopra, and Don Miguel Ruiz. I love The Mists of Avalon, Life of Pi, Ishmael, The Monk, He's Scared She's Scared, Tribal Leadership, Wandering, and many, many more.
My music preferences are long and obscure, but some of my current favorites include Discovery, Ronald Jenkees, Afro-Celt Sound System, any reggae or beatboxing, most dj beats, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Worked as a first mate on a Catamaran in Maui during whale season and communed with the whales. Spectacular.
