I absolutely love meeting new people! I have meet and stayed close friends with countless couch surfing hosts I've stayed with. It has been such an amazing experience.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

This will be my fifth summer of traveling around the United States. This summer will be a little different as I'm finishing a book I'm writing about my travel experiences. I'm looking for spots I can stay that have access to public transportation (or a taxi/Lyft) and a quiet spot I can write. Being by water that I can swim in is a huge bonus! I LOVE to swim.

Only one?! Just kidding. But I've had a pretty incredible life. Some of the highlights...climbing to the top of pyramids, holding my girls just after they were born, getting degrees, being in the eye of a tornado, so many....

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I teach violin and always love giving lessons (in thanks for a bed!) to anyone who wants them. I also bake a mean loaf of homemade bread and can teach! I love reading and talking about books. I'm always interested in talking to other writers.

Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann

I can be as involved or quiet as my hosts wish. Ideally I love spending the day sightseeing and then love to get to know my host in the evening. I also have no expectation for a host to hang out with me. Sometimes it is just so welcome to have a bed and shower to use while traveling.
