ABOUT ME

I love animals and the outdoors, and most of my ambitions in life are to bring me closer to either of those things!

My husband and I live in an intentional community with three other individuals. We have a big three-story home that we all share, a huge garden, chickens, and bees. We believe in living simply, sharing resources, and enjoying our time together! We host a potluck once a week which brings together lots of friends and families - it can be chaotic but very fun! If you happen to stay with us on a Tuesday you'll see what it's all about.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a number of great guests and stayed with a few amazing hosts. It's such an awesome community! Since I try living my day-to-day life in a way that is connected to my local community, I love the opportunity to grow an extended community outside of just my home in Duluth.

Interests

Backpacking, canoeing, skiing, SCUBA diving, jamming on the accordion, playing cribbage, and half-finishing my library books.

I am open minded and will read, listen to, or watch just about anything. I love truth-through-humor, so Kurt Vonnegut is a favorite. I am always looking for good suggestions!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went SCUBA diving in Lake Superior, in November, in the middle of the night, with some dive buddies to see the lake trout spawning.

I know an awful lot about sturgeon. Just ask.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Most of all, I would love to listen and learn about your home. I will bring stories from the frozen northland as well!
