ABOUT ME

I am on a quest through life to experience, learn, see, eat, laugh and try as much as possible. I have no particular direction, I often start on one path then suddenly head off on a complete tangent! I try to live by the mantra - life is not about the breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breathe away. I am a complete geek and love learning, about how others live and have lived their lives and the things that affect them.

Interests

I am a water and sun baby! I love sailing its my hobby and very fortunately my occupation as well.
I love being active and will have a go at pretty much anything. Particularly keen, although often not very good at, hiking, surfing, snowboarding, canoeing and biking - anything to get the heart pumping.
I can devour a good book in a few hours! I'm quite fussy about what I will read though. I do like fiction but enjoy it more if its based on some sort of truth or is culturally accurate and makes me feel like i've learnt at least a little something.
