Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To make this beautiful planet we live on "smaller" by creating relationships around the globe.

To share Eugene and the Willamette Valley with as many people as possible. I moved here in fall of 2014 and have fallen in love with my new home. I want everyone to be able to experience the beauty this area has to offer!
**Update** recently moved to a house in Monroe, in the Oregon countryside, 25 miles from Eugene. Our house is currently under construction so we’re not accepting guest again yet. But I still spend lots of my time in Eugene, so I’m hoping to still meet up and show travelers around the area. To clarify, I’m still listed as located in Eugene because that’s where I’d meet up with travelers while unable to host. My “home” tab has info on our place in Monroe, because the goal is to host there when the house is ready.

Interests

Anything outdoors: hiking, biking, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, camping.. Reading in the sunshine or dancing in the rain.

My job. Working with kids.

Road tripping or exploring nearby natural wonders with my family (boyfriend, his 7 year old son, and our 3 big dogs). However, I usually use couchsurfing for my solo travels.
