ABOUT ME

I am a History major currently studying in Innsbruck, Austria on an exchange program. I have come all the way to central Europe from Asia to gain new experience and have an overall amazing time discovering new places and meeting new people!

I was born in Germany but spent almost all of my youth in Singapore. I am of Japanese and Singaporean heritage and speak fluent English, Japanese and Mandarin. In my spare time back home, I skate with the local roller derby team!

I haven't traveled too extensively so far in my life but I intend to put this current opportunity to full use and travel as much as possible!

I have quite a diverse music library but I generally prefer alternative rock and folk, as well as have a large portion of my favourites made up of indie rock and pop!
My favourite book genre is contemporary fiction! My favourite authors are Jeffrey Eugenides, John Green, Jonathan Safran Foer and Nicole Krauss.
I don't watch too much movies but I love films by Wes Anderson and Michel Gondry. My favourite actors at the moment is Jesse Eisenberg and Ellen Page! But I do spent a copious amount of time watching American and British TV shows such as It's always sunny in philadelphia, Misfits, Community and many more!

Catching the Flaming Lips live in concert was an awesome experience.
Also, arriving in Innsbruck and having my breath taken away but the surrounding mountains.
