Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Me interesa conocer la cultura real de cada lugar que visito, más allá de lo que tienen para ofrecerle a los turistas.
Considero que uno conoce realmente un lugar, cuando conoce su gente, su forma de vida, su día a día. Esto no se encuentra en un hotel, ni un hostel, ni un camping: sino compartiendo tiempo y vivencias con personas locales, quienes pueden enseñarme mucho más que un guía turístico (aunque no lo crean!)

I'm interested in meeting the real culture of each place I visit, beyond what they have to offer in the touristic way.
I think you really know a place when you know their people, their way of living and their interests. You'll not going to find it either in a hotel, nor a hostel, nor a camping: but sharing time and experiences with local people, who can teach you sometimes much better than a tour guide (believe it or not!)

Claro que no puedo dejar de mencionar los trabajos de Julio Cortazar, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Ernest Hemingway, Herman Hesse y, obviamente, los 7 libros de Harry Potter!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Completé El Camino de Santiago, una peregrinación a pie de 800km durante 31 días a través de las hermosas tierras del norte de España hasta Finisterre, "el fin del mundo plano". Una experiencia tan intensa e increible como enriquecedora.

I've walked the St. James' way, a 800km pilgrimage through the lovely spanish lands. Such an intense and oustanding experience!
