Overview
About Me
Foodie, adventurer, unapologetically extroverted, and spontaneous traveler. Currently in Taiwan and about to move to India.
I study at an American university called Minerva where we move to a new country each semester. I will be living in the following countries during my 4 years degree: San Francisco, Seoul, Taipei, Hyderabad, Berlin, London.
I love talking about social sciences, philosophy, business, and sustainability. I'm a digital marketer with experience in the medical and education industries. I'm also an aspiring social entrepreneur and content creator.
I'm a scout so I like spending time in nature. I played professional chess and still really enjoy the game. I'm trying to get better at photography and editing.
I enjoy cozy deep talks with some coffee or tea. As a former exchange student (YES program and Erasmus+ programs), I am an experienced host and guest. I value intercultural communication so much. I can surely promise a good time together hahaha

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and exploring cities from the locals' perspective. I hosted many people before for various exchange programs and really enjoyed the process. I want to establish long-term friendships and real human connections with people wherever I go. I believe living in the same home is the best way to get to know someone and also share each others' cultures. Considering all these reasons, Couchsurfing is the best community I could ever imagine!

Music, Movies, and Books
My most favorite shows are Person of Interest, Orphan Black, Attack on Titan, and Vis a Vis.
Foundation trilogy by Isaac Asimov is the greatest book I've ever read. I also really enjoyed A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini. Despite these, I enjoy dystopian fiction a lot.
I love listening to music in different languages and am always open to exploring more. Some of my top artists are Alice Merton, Lana del Rey, Adele, Marina, LP, Anne Marie. In addition to alternative music, I like symphonic metal too.
I love YES Theory youtube channel and am a big seeker!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I got accepted to the world's most selective university and thanks to them I am actively traveling the world almost for free with an international cohort.
I learned how to treat the most common illnesses of stray cats to ensure their wellbeing in my neighborhood back in Turkey (we got lots of cats everywhere!)
I did a fully-funded high school exchange program where I spent a year in a town that JUST experienced the largest wildfire in California history and lost %90 of its buildings.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love sharing about my country and culture. Would love to help anyone who is interested in learning Turkish or wants to learn anything about Turkey.
I played competitive chess in big tournaments for years. I love playing and teaching the game.
I'm not the greatest cook but I love making people try my country's traditional food :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Taiwanese sweets and souvenirs + some Turkish coffee haha
I also guarantee amazing convos, great company, and huge appreciation:)
