Overview
About Me
Born and raised in Istanbul but then attended an American university that took me all around the world (new country each semester!). I just graduated and now am looking for my next adventure while working remote. I decided to move to Egypt for a few months to learn Arabic and experience the beauty of this unique nation. I love talking politics, history, arts, and philosophy. I'm a chess enthusiast and an aspiring polyglot. Pretty extroverted and talkative, I can guarantee you will never feel an awkward silence when around me haha!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think what gives meaning to traveling is the relationships we cultivate along the way, not with just fellow travelers but also, and especially, the locals. I love creating memories with cool new contacts I just met; I love the opportunity to get to know someone's life closely over the course of a few days as I take a quick look at their lives and routines. As much as I enjoy traveling for sightseeing, that's not why I'm really doing it. I think Couchsurfing offers a unique opportunity to find new friends and truly immerse myself in new cultures, something a stay at a hotel can't really provide.
