I'm Emina, 20 years old and come from a small town in Austria. I'm studying Middle Eastern studies, with focus on arabic and islamic studies, at the university of Vienna, and am currently living there.

I'm open-minded and tolerant, thus love to meet all kinds of different people from all over the world. I'd like to think of myself as adventurous and spontaneous, but I guess sometimes I'm a bit trapped in my everyday-life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Getting to a new city and wandering around somewhere I've never been before excites me tremendously. It makes me feel like a child to discover things I haven't seen, hearing words I haven't heard, and eating food I haven't tasted before.
I made the experience that staying with someone who knows the city improves the quality of a trip - and can also build friendships!

Music, Movies, and Books

I can interest myself in a lot of different genres, depending on my mood. If it's the right time for it, I can love so many different styles with passion - from Jazz to Trip-Hop, from Indie Pop to Rap, there are just a few genres I dislike.
I like listening to music anywhere and anytime, it makes me feel at ease.

Concerning movies and especially TV-series the same "almost every genre" thing applies, and all in all I'm a "binge-watch-a-whole-season" kind of person.
My go-to movie when I'm feeling down is "Pulp Fiction", and I can watch "Parks and Recreation" over and over again.

I love reading, especially Austrian prose, like Bachmann, Jelinek, Bernhard, Köhlmeier or Handke.
