About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live life to the fullest & meet authentic people on the way.

ABOUT ME

Ive been working & living in Abu Dhabi for over 5 years. & just moved to Dubai. Before that I was in Brunei Darussalam and Sydney with a short stay in Japan.

I play tennis, cycle, scuba dive & go to the beach. I love travelling & meeting interesting & positive people who enjoy life.

I don't smoke & avoid being around smokers, but I do enjoy hanging out with friends, dancing & nature.

PHILOSOPHY

live & let live.
I don't like to judge or be judged by others - rather to respect the choices people make for themselves.

I avoid negativity & aggression.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When possible I meet up with CSers visiting DXB, host if possible. I also like to meet up with CSers in the places I travel to and perhaps be hosted - hanging out with someone who knows an area gives a much richer experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met up with &/or hosted several people and had a great experience CSing in Spain.

CSers who lack generosity of spirit detract from the experience, so please don't contact me if you're just looking for free accommodation & food.

CSing is about sharing experiences and ideas and getting the most out of travel.

Interests

I'm live an active lifestyle - tennis, cycling, dancing, scuba diving, walking & hanging out with friends. I enjoy BBQs and supping vino.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a wide range of music - jazz, house, classical, ... I don't like country though!

"A Fortune Teller Told Me" by Tiziano Tizerni is a great book for travellers to read - especially if you have been or are in S E Asia. I love to read books set in the part of the world I'm travelling in.

I love films, usually nothing with violence - although I thought Brothers was a very powerful film looking at inter & intrapersonal issues.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wow! so many expereriences come to mind - working on prawn trawlers in the Gulf of Carpentaria, trekking in the Golden Triangle & Vietnam, but even more amazing that these is being a mum & living an authentic life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach English language skills & academic skills. I can share experiences and perspectives.
