i have lived in a city called denizli, turkey for 18 years. i was born and raised in there. i lived with my parents and a brother who is two years younger than me but acts like he is older. i chose a different country to go to university. cyprus. After studying one year in famagusta i transferred my school to istanbul. After 2 years in istanbul I am studying for two semester in Cologne, Germany . Change is almost always good :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

because i want to travel the world. not only the earth. i want to get to know different people in their own country. because almost every people who settled somewhere has a love-hate relationships with that place. so i wanna know what they love what they hate so i can get to know the city. i don't want to be a tourist. i want be an explorer. and i think couchsurfing is the best way to meet with people who will help me accomplish my goal.

Interests

music, watching tv series and movies and such. I also recently start to read books about animal behavior because of a series called zoo. İ recommend it strongly.
Update: they ended the show and the last season sucked so I don't recommend it anymore :D

my favorite bands are radiohead, placebo, my chemical romance. as for my favorite movies i love dead poets society. its also one of my favorite books. other movies are: 12 angry man, wit,the pianist, roman holiday, im the name of my father and of course the harry potter series. i have lots of fav movies and they wouldn't fit here.

I am always reading and watching things about movie making so if you are interested we can talk about directors, screen writers, camera work and movies in general .

I really like to learn basic phrases before i visit a country and during my stay i love when my local friends teach me the funny ,interesting sayings of the language :)

Hopefully good conversation and I can cook traditional turkish food but it can be hard to obtain all the ingredients in a foreign country so no promises about that :)
