CURRENT MISSION

Park City, Canyons, Utah. The biggest perk that comes with working for Vail is the employee pass, lets you ski at any Vail-owned resort. Gonna take advantage of it and go ski in Utah.
Currently, I'm traveling with my boyfriend Hilton. We've been dating for 3+ years now, (a record for both of us.) met in Alaska, (H has been in the ski industry ten years as well) spent a year caravanning in Australia together, and now we just finished our second season at Kirkwood.
Park City/Canyons is open for another week, until April 10th, so that's the plan. We're prepared to camp out of the car, looking forward to it actually. But it'd be real nice to get a night or two indoors as well. hot shower.

ABOUT ME

I'm quiet, I read a lot, play piano, swap poems. then throw in an infatuation with snow and water mountains and lakes, soccer and backpacking and travel and climbing trees and everything you can do outside, and the resulting clash of contradictions is me.
I'm 32, been ski-bumming it for 10+ years, which promotes a semi-nomadic life. Longest I've lived anywhere since I was 16 is two years in a row.

Climbing up to the top of anything is always a favorite of mine. Buildings, trees, mountains, cliffs, walls and waterfalls, whatever it is, for some reason I want to be at the top.

I'm running my way thru all the Max Brand westerns right now. Freddie Faust is completely unappreciated by literature critics, the dude leaves me totally inspired to live better and harder, to dream big and make it happen. a lot like Sabatini, minus the history. I ran out of Sabatini, but fortunately Faust wrote some huge amount of stories, so I got a ways to go.

I got underneath a glacier this summer. I've been on top of them, I've climbed down in them, and that's all cool too, but getting underneath... knowing that huge mass of ice is on top of ya, and its moving, creeping. The water is rushing, skittering over the rocks, and the ice around you has those curves, those contours like running your hands over a body with smooth skin, except it's ice. And that color blue... I love that color blue.
