Overview
About Me
My name is Emircan Demir. I'm 22 years old. I am a 4th year student at Anadolu University, Faculty of Communication, Public Relations and Advertising department. I am also a radio programmer and content writer. In my spare time, I try to travel as much as I can. I've traveled to many cities in Turkey before, and I was part of an AIESEC volunteer projects in Serbia for 1 month. I love talking and getting to know new cultures. In this way, I made friends from different countries. I enjoyed their meals, tried to learn their games and songs, listened to their stories. I tried to promote myself and my culture as much as possible. Besides, I am interested in music in my spare time. I play clarinet as an amateur and occasionally perform as a dj.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The main reason for this is being able to meet people thanks to Couchsurfing. In this way, I can learn and teach more where I stay. Listening to people's stories and knowing that each individual has their own world makes my life more livable. It is also nice to see different people in their most natural environment. It is also more affordable financially. Because I'm still a student and I haven't been able to gain enough independence financially.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiking to go for miles to see my girlfriend who went on a caravan vacation with her family. The first holiday I went alone. Hitchhiking was slower than going with a caravan, so I couldn't catch them. Nevertheless, I got into the sea a lot and had the chance to travel with people I don't know.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Turkish and Turkish culture, something about Adobe programs, something about marketing and communication.
I want to learn basic language skills, cultural things like dance or music.
