ABOUT ME

We are both currently doing a ski season in Austria as Chalet Hosts, so cooking 3 course meals and cleaning up after people. When the season is over we plan on traveling around Europe with an Interail pass.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As we are currently out of the country and will be travelling as soon as we finish here we have no couch to offer, but really want to get involved with the surfing side of things when we travel, not just because its a cheaper way of doing it, but because it means we would get to see and experience the real bits of the countries we visit and not just the tourist trail. And we will be happy to cook our hosts meals in return for their hospitality.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Millennium series is a must, One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez ( a good traveling book.)
All the books by Sarah Waters, although Fingersmith is the best. And gotta love Harry Potter, I am pretty much an expert on the subject.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Abbi: buying second hand scooters in Laos with people I met whilst working at a community center, and driving up through the little villages to the Vietnamese boarder.
