Why I’m on Couchsurfing

During this current trip we are excited to be hiking and meeting new people. We will be backpacking around New Zealand and Australia 2016 and are looking to connect with locals, see anything and everything, and experience a place we have never been before.
Emma has lived in community for years and enjoys the experience of sharing space and responsibilities and appreciates how couchsurfing allows for this kind of connection while traveling.

Teach, Learn, Share

Eager to share stories and conversation, art and music. Happy to teach some (eastern US) plant and animal identification and other nature skills, cooking, guitar and ukulele, and art. Enjoy learning new cooking cuisine and any other useful skills. Love to hear people's experiences.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We are hoping to share some culture, food, stories, and laughs. We are happy to help with cooking, cleaning, gardening, animal or childcare, or anything else around the house. Emma has experience with care of horses, goats, dogs and cats, animal training, years of nannying, and general helpful handy-ness.
