About Me
Hi y'all !
I am a 21 yeared-old girl from France and currently studying business and management at ESSEC Business School near Paris. My parents and I are originally from Tours, in the centre of France and we moved out when I was 6 in Martinique. We stayed there for a year and then my parents decided to come back in France as they were missing our country (probably our baguettes, cheese and wine...). I arrived in Royan, a seaside resort in the South West of the country, near the Atlantic ocean.
I live now in Cergy for my studies (30 mins away from Paris), but next month (september) I leave for an abroad exchange in Prague, Czech Republic! I am looking forward to it. :D This is not my first exchange as I've lived 6 months in the city of Groningen (Netherlands) and studied there last year. It was one of the best experiences ever and I met a lot of great people that I'll never forget.
When I have free time, I love playing music. I sing, play the piano, guitar and just began playing bass. I also write articles for a French music website, Dust of Music (http://dustofmusic.com/), usually live reports, album reviews, musical news, playlists,... I play also volleyball since several years now and I love this sport as it is a team sport. When I have time and motivation, I enjoy cooking, especially some cakes such as cheesecake and banana bread, my claws. I am very curious and spontaneous and I love going on an adventure and meet people from different horizons. I think people can share a lot of information and passions, so here I am on Couchsurfing! :-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As explained in 'About Me', I think to meet people in their environnement is something really important. Today, we need to go out of our comfort zone and see the world. I believe that Couchsurfing allows people to move all around the world through a really friendly way and to meet great people in different places where we would have never been before. That's why I enrolled on Couchsurfing, and when I'll be settled somewhere after my studies, I definitely will open my place to accept people. :-)
