About Me

I am passionate about dancing, whether it be performing in a theatre, or busting bad MC Hammer moves in the kitchen. I enjoy being challenged with new ideas and appreciate thoughtful debate. Once in awhile I crave a good adrenaline rush, but mostly I go for day to day simple things, like a sunny patio, cold beer, good friends, and good conversation. Biking is my form of meditation, and I try to do it year round. I play a little guitar, though I believe my true talent, like Will Ferrel, is in the cow bell. http://www.funnyhub.com/needs-more-cowbell-snl/

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It just makes so much sense, not sure why I didn't join sooner.

Interests

Crafty stuff, drawing, sewing etc. I'm always up for events where humour is involved, like stand-up comedy or bad taste parties. Also, music is a huge part of my life and I am regularly going to hear it live, whether it be indie pop, balkan beats, electro, folk, classical, hip hop... I've been trying to learn a bit about grapes ever since my dad retired and started a vineyard. Biking wine tours have a special place in my heart.

Music, Movies, and Books

All time favourite is Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut. I've always been a bit of a documentary and mockumentary junkie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was a child, I greeted a grizzly bear that had wandered into my family's back yard. I thought it was a big dog from our neighbourhood.

Teach, Learn, Share

Sharing and learning is a given and I welcome both! I can teach you how to make a mean pumpkin cheesecake.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I don't have a formal education in tailoring, but I'm always cutting, sewing, mending and altering clothes for fun.. so if you have a missing button or a hole in that favourite T, I can probably help ;)))

Countries I’ve Visited
