Hi,
we are two girls from Denmark, Anna Torgny Henningsen and Emma Bojsen Lornsen.
We are travelling to The States in the middle of October till late November, and therefore we're looking for places to stay and meet some locals along the way.
We are 20 years old, and both just graduated High Shcool (wich we do later in the Danish school system).

we are both verry openminded and positive towards other people. We live in the city (copenhagen), and have
also enjoyed a one-year stay on boarding school, so we are very use to be sourrended by many people. Our stay at the boarding school has also taught us to be respectfull towards other people's boundaries and clean up after ourselves.

Here's a little description of who we are:

Anna:

i'm working in a bakery full tim and on a café half time, were i’ll be working in my gap years. I’m very passionate about everything i do, wether it’s small thinks like cooking up a meal, or more extensive things, as creating events.
I enjoy moving my body, doing yoga, swimming or dancing. I’ve been dancing modern dace for several years know, and also been a part of many plays both on my dancing studio and in musicals on my high school and boarding school.

I like to talk a lot, but also like the quietness, and over all, i adapted pretty easily to my surroundings. However, i do need some peace time for my self here and there. (but then again, who doesn’t). I love to play board games, take long walks (both in nature and the city), dancing to queen B, techno, rihanna and everything in between 😀

my passions are extensive, and therefore i click with most people. I do have some strong opinions about the world, politics, feminism and veganism, but i’m always open for interesting discussions.

I have a creative, messy, poetic and spiritual mind and love to extend my perspectives by meeting new people!

Emma:

I'm working at a nursering home for older people.
In my spare time I like to hang out with my friends, read, swim, and do yoga.
My true passion though is art and crafts. I have attended art school and exhibited few places in Aarhus and Copenhagen. I mostly make videos and installation art but I’m really in to any kind of creative expression.

I enjoy working together with people and make bigger projects and events happening. I love to dance, even though i’m NOT a pro. My music taste is very diverse, one day I listen to Brockhamton the next i could be The smiths or Rihanna.

I'm a very open and relaxed person. I love to discuss and talk a lot but I really also find the quietness valuable. I have moved and traveled a lot all throughout my life, so I’m really used to adapt to new places and surroundings.

I'm a goofy and passionated girl who loves to meet new people and get out of my comfort zone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are couchsurfing because we think that it is very good way to meet new people and discover new interesting places!
