Hi, I'm Emma, I'm 21 years old, and I've been in Sacramento for about a year and a half now. I'm currently an Art History major at Sacramento City College and will be transferring to UC Davis in the fall of 2018. When not studying I like my fair share of anime and video games, but I'm not necessarily the kind of person who likes to stay indoors. I really like going out and seeing whats around. Art, tea, theatre, window shopping, poetry, I like most excuses to get out of the house. I started cycling recently as well.

I'm pretty shy but I like to think I warm up to people fairly quickly. I really like getting to know people and learning about them. I want to break out of my shell and meet some new friends in Sacramento!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent 4 summers in high school in a local theatre program called Mirror Project in my hometown. Murphys Creek Theatre Company does a performance of a Shakespeare play every summer and the summer program would do our own version of the production, hence "Mirror Project"! It was a very intense program. While the adults had months to polish their show, the summer program was only a month and we would produce a performance on par with (if not better than ;D) the adults!

Over the years I performed in A Midsummer Night's Dream (Moonshine/Fairy), Romeo and Juliet (Father Lawrence), The Tempest (Sebastian), and Much Ado About Nothing (Don Jon/Dogberry).

Teach, Learn, Share

As my major may suggest, I'm really into art and I love sharing that with whoever is interested. My goal is to become a college professor so I'm really into teaching about it to whomever is interested.

Teach me about what interests you. I may not know about it yet, but I'll never know if I'm interested in something if I don't learn. Spark that interest. :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you're into anime or manga we will always have something to talk about and perhaps watch together if you're interested.
My boyfriend and I have recently gotten into cycling and we love to just ride around the city and the local bike trails, especially night riding!
If you're into theatre (musical or otherwise), I would love geeking out with you about it. It's been a big part of my life since I was a little kid.
