Overview
About Me
I'm down to earth, a book-nerd, a foodie, an environmentalist, a prejudice hater and a person who's very eager to learn.
To me passion is a virtue and regardless of what you're passionate about, it's worth sharing. In my case I get very easily passionated, if I like something I will learn everything about the thing and I will find every argument to support my case. I love hearing about the passions of others and hopefully get a perspective on my own. I'm generally heavily opinionated so a good discussion is one of my favorite pastimes.
My goal is to have a local beer wherever I travel (preferably with locals).
I love being active, and despite the fact that my motor skills absolutely suck, I really love extreme sports like skiing and rafting. I also absolutely love to curl up with a book, a blanket and a cup of tea.
My goal in life is to make the world a better place.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really love the idea of meeting locals wherever I go and I love the idea of having strangers from all around the world tell me their stories and tell me about their culture whilst perhaps also being able to give them a bit of mine!

Music, Movies, and Books
The music that I like is mostly from the 50's, 60's and 80's, involving classic rock, rock, soft rock, acoustic folk and rock n' roll. My favorites being The Beatles and Simon & Garfunkel.
Book wise I also love classics and generally the dark and weird ones. My favorites include Shelley's Frankenstein and Wilde's A House of Pomegranates.
In movies I'm also into the dark and weird ones like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, but classics here also seem to rule me over. My favorites is among others the aforementioned, Chaplin's The Great Dictator and Forest Gump
