Hello! My name is Emma. I am a 21 year from California but currently attending Bucknell University on the East Coast. I enjoy traveling and seeing and learning as much as I can about the world around me. I am majoring in History and am passionate about different cultures, people, and places. I grew up playing water polo and hiking around the California trails. I am passionate about environmental conservation, diversity, and making the planet a better place for all.

I joined couchsurfing to connect with people who are willing to open their homes for others. As a student, couchsurfing makes traveling on a small budget possible. I also love meeting new people and experiencing the culture of the places I visit instead of just the 'tourist' experience.

In the future, I hope I will be able to give back by offering others a place to stay, but until then I'm grateful people are generous enough to offer places to stay.

I love all kinds of music. Recently I have been listening to a lot of Lewis Capaldi--his voice is amazing!

My favorite novel is Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy. The way he developes complex characters is incredible.

Favorite movie is either In Bruges or Amelie--can't decide.
