I believe travel is the ultimate education. I yearn to learn and discover new countries and cultures. This is why couchsurfing caught my eye, as it appears to create a community of like-minded people from anywhere and everywhere, to work and play together all over the world!

My dreams turned into reality in January 2014 when I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa to raise money for charity. Some people may feel totally out of their comfort zone, staying with a group of strangers in the wild with no home comforts – I’ve never felt so in my element and alive!
