About Me

I am quite an easy going and very active person who loves the outdoors. Exploring new places is one of my favourite things to do. Coming from the Highlands of Scotland, that means that I like to get to meet new people and make memories with new people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love and share the philosophy of this organisation - to travel and share with people from across the world. I have travelled with friends before and used Couchsurfing a few times and I think it is a great way to meet people. Everyone I meet is so friendly and welcoming, and when I get a place of my own, I would love to share my home with smiley faces! It seems to be the best way to get the local knowledge and a great way to make the most of your stay! I look forward to meeting new people on my travels!

Interests

The outdoors! Hiking, climbing, skiing, sailing and lots more are great interests of mine! I also really like cooking for people so I would be more than happy to make you some food! I am also trying to get better at yoga... definitely trying.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have lots but here are some of my all time favourites:

Books: A thousand Splendid Suns; Shataram; Harry Potter; Game of Thrones
Music: Of monsters and men; Mumford and Sons; Hunter and the Bear; Natalie Haas and Alasdair Fraser
Films: Brave; Intouchables; Anchorman

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked in France as a teaching assistant for 7 months! I made some incredible friends and it was such a great experience to teach children. It gave me a great opportunity to travel and so I have many fantastic memories from that time. It helped turn me into the person I am today.
